About Me

I am a seasoned biotech professional, specializing in protein production and virology. I have over 35 years of diverse experience in both academia and industry. I am especially skilled in the technique of baculovirus and producing proteins with custom post-translational modifications.

With this consultancy, I aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry, producing industry-standard research proteins.  I also aim to express and purify customised proteins as a service to the scientific community in institutes or industries.  I wish to introduce the insect cell expression system by engaging the larger community by setting up the baculovirus labs to validate the protein expression, train students or faculty, conduct workshops, and troubleshoot for protein production.
